Description

In this sculpture, human kindness is visualised as a male figure beaten back unto the brink of collapse. This portrayal of human kindness as masculine, muscular, beaten but not defeated celebrates the great strength and confrontation that is conditional to men who take up the mantle of choosing human kindness. Suspended between the two opposing forces of resurrection and collapse, this sculpture is intended to encourage us to fight to overcome the impossible and demonstrate that the power of human kindness is enhanced by confrontation with all that it must overcome.
